Deann Ware, Ph.D.
Dr. Ware
is a licensed psychologist in the State
of Texas. She received a Bachelor of
Arts degree from the University of Texas
at Austin, with Honors conferred by the
University and Special Honors conferred
by the Department of Psychology. She
earned a doctorate in clinical
psychology from the University of Texas
Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas.
After completing her formal academic
training, she participated in two additional years of supervised
training in neuropsychology. Her
professional training involved academic
as well as applied experience in many
areas of mental health.
Dr.
Ware maintains a current knowledge base in psychology by attending
professional conferences and actively participating in several
professional organizations. She has conducted continuing
education courses for her peers, provided post-doctoral supervision,
and provided student supervision for the University of Texas
Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas. She has also held elected
and appointed offices within professional organizations. Dr. Ware
has served on the Steering Committee for the North Texas Society
for Personality Assessment and is a former president (2001-2002)
of the Dallas Society for Psychoanalytic Psychology. Dr. Ware was
nominated by her peers, and selected by The Texas State Board of
Examiners of Psychologists, to serve as an examiner for candidates
seeking licensure in the State of Texas.

Deanna S. Liss, Ph.D.
Dr.
Liss is a licensed psychologist in the State of Texas. She
received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Smith College and a doctorate
in clinical psychology from the University of Texas Southwestern
Medical Center at Dallas. She has worked with children,
adolescents, and adults in a variety of settings, including Episcopal
School of Dallas, Winston School, UTSW Adult Outpatient Clinic, and
Children's Medical Center of Dallas. Dr. Liss is a published
researcher and holds an Assistant Professorship of Psychology at the
University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas. In
addition to supervising students and post doctoral interns, she has
served on several dissertation committees and currently teaches
psychological assessment to doctoral students at the University of
Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas.
In
addition to academic appointments, Dr. Liss is an experienced clinician
and an active contributor in the mental health community. She has
served on the Board of Trustees for the International Dyslexia
Association and the Metroplex Parents of Multiples. She also
served as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) for children in the
foster care system in Texas.
Dr. Liss joined Ware Wellness Group in September, 2008.
